Here at the the Glenn Curtiss museum in Hammondsport on Keuka Lake in the Fingerlakes, we are looking at an Outboard Runabout. This small wooden boat was made by the Penn Yan Co of Keuka Lake in 1958. We have stuck our head into the interior and are looking at the dashboard and instrument panel.

The old wooden boats have so much more character than the new boats do. I love my boat, but I would love an old chris craft wooden boat from the 1930’s!
