DIY Walk-In Closet

Friday, 7.6.18

I got the idea for this DIY post by checking out someone’s video on YouTube, Bonkers Closet. I decided to post the largest walk-in closet for this post, and then add some celebrity walk-in closets. Then, I decided to add a regular person’s walk-in closet, which is mine, where I explain some basic organizational tips, such as using plastic bins, plastic drawers, wicker baskets, shoe racks, closet carousel, and other containers to help organize your belongings.

#7 Reorganizing My Closet Space

Back in 2015, I decided to reorganize my closet space. My bedroom has two long closets with mirrored sliding doors. I did find items that I though I lost because they were hiding underneath other items. But this video is for a regular person's walk-in closet.

I organized my closets with plastic bins and plastic drawers. There were some side shelves in one closet, in which I mostly placed sweaters and other knits.

I later bought a carousel for shoes and purses from Walmart. I think I bought that recently, last year, because I saw it by accident while I was searching for something else in Walmart. I also bought new shoe racks that hang over doors, and I placed them on my bathroom and bedroom doors to organize some shoes.

I need to reorganize my closet space soon. Maybe I will make a new 2018 video.

I like this electronic music in this video that I used from YouTube featured tracks. It kind of sounds like AVICCI music, but it is someone else's music.

    • their closet looks like their own personal boutique, while my video looks like a regular bedroom closet. mine looks boring compared to celebrity closets.

  1. I was just at The Container Store, and I saw cool containers and other organizer tools that help people create professional looking walk-in closets. I had fun browsing through it because i needed to get file holder things for my filing carts. i am considering going back in the future to get organizing stuff as i need it.
