Where to hang your hat

My wife made this meme a long time ago. It is a quote from her grandfather. I never met “Granddaddy,” but I see him in my wife and in my daughter. These are words my wife have lived by. Now, we are teaching our daughter to live by them too. “Live a life you can hang your hat on.” The words aren’t fancy and they don’t really sound that important, but they are. I regret not meeting Granddaddy, the man who made my wife the great gal she is. It is wonderful to see him in the two girls who mean the most to me.
