In general Lutherans were a long time ago Catholic till Martin Luther left the Catholic church. He did not believe in the private confessional with a priest. He believed we can talk to the Lord ourselves and confess to him. We do not need the middleman so to speak. That was one reason Lutherans started. To me there is nothing wrong with the Catholic faith for all it’s detailed traditions the services are beautiful with all the Latin at times that is spoken.
I am a Catholic and I really don’t know much about Lutherans except Martin Luther. Maybe you can post another article about the Lutheran church.
I am planning some short articles from my old Sunday school and catechism classes I had before I was confirmed. Hope you find them interesting to a point.
This one is very interesting. Good job.
