During the era of protests and civil rights, the racist core of America felt marginalized. What they thought of as their birth right was taken from them.
These people lived their small lives feeling resentment that their white skins did not grant them instant entitlement.
They were angry about ‘affirmative action’ and minorities gaining privilege which they felt belonged to them.
There was little they could do, publicly.
As education became more expensive, as more non-whites filled positions of power, they became angrier.
As America was built on prejudice, whether it was religious, racial, or monetary the word ‘equality’ was always seen as an epithet by the racist white male, and his dominated wife.
The election of Barack Obama was the final straw.
