“Dismantled Building” in Milan … Italy
British sculptor and artist Alex Chinneck has brought an incredible installation to Milan. He opened the facade of the building with a large zipper. In addition to the unusual exterior, there are several zip closure installations inside the building. Chinneck used stone corner reinforcement, typical of Italian architecture, to create a zipper. He “peeled off” a layer of a 17m high building to reveal a glittering sky-colored panel. Inside, he placed one zipper on the wall and another on the floor. in Milan.
