DAYS OF REMEMBRANCE ON THE Sremič

In the year marking the centenary of the First World War, the art historian Jasna Jovanov in Belgrade organized an exhibition of large Sremič, removing dust from her character and work. The painter’s native village since 1995 there is art colony under her name, a few days ago was completed manifestation “Days of Danica Jovanovic”, organized by representatives of the Serbian – Greek Friendship.

Danica Jovanovic (Beška, 4 January 1886 – Petrovaradin, September 12, 1914) is a Serbian painter who belonged to the generation of Serbian modernists, who have artistic training began in the early 20th century, but their creative ascent broke up the Balkan and the First World War.
