We stay home, remain healthy and we are listening to a concert that we would not normally have attended. Why not? We adapt to the conditions. A group of students all sang their individual a cappella portion of “Over the Rainbow” in their separate homes. What came out you will see if you watch this video.
I have no idea how I miss these things, but I am happy when I find them.
Oh my goodness. Words aren’t enough for this..
For one, this sounds great, they all did a really fantastic job at mixing this from their homes. That lead, he sounds so nice, the sopranos, were heavenly. The basses were fabulous and deep with rich tones.
For the last thing that makes this so wonderful, is that we all indeed in this together, WORLD WIDE we are one. Stay safe, and again. THANK YOU!
Being one is so interesting. We are stronger together.
I am going to comment before I hear this, then after. The reason why is, is because I was raised with this kind of music. My mom is a singer, she sings lead. Meaning she has great range. She was asked at age 25 to sign a recording contract, and do tours. She denied the contract, because she had just found out she was carrying my oldest sister, her first child. Long story, we grew up in a house of a Capella singing. My mom is now 97 and still is the director of The Sweet Adeline’s in Escondido, CA. Now, I am going to enjoy this. Thank you Ileana, stay safe!
