In my short trip to another town, I spotted this aged water tower somewhere near in the middle of the town.
Towering at the corner of a public school, I believe this old concrete water tank is a remnant of the past and no longer functioning. Besides, I don’t think it could hold enough water to serve even just half of the town.
I don’t know how old this tower is and how many were built throughout the province. Some of these towers still stands in other towns. But I have seen only a few. Perhaps some of the towns did not have one or in one way or another, they were removed.
Leaving this one standing is a reminder of the past.
