Observatorio del la Imaginacion – 365 Photos Challenge #7

I managed to have some spare time while headed to work to stop in at Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park where there are 60 + of these unique looking sculptures. My most recent share from this park was ‘Donor Tree’ by Joseph Folise which you can view here. Today’s feature is titled ‘Observatorio del la Imaginacion’ by Luis Torruella. I really was not sure what to think when I came across this sculpture, but was sure it had some type of meaning to it which I later looked up. Per, Skokie Northshore Sculpture Park out of the two parts shared the smaller segment is intended to be a seat that the viewer can use to observe the larger sculptural piece. That viewer is then able to look through the telescope-like form at the top and let his thoughts wander in this “observatory of the imagination.”

These photos were taken with a Samsung Galaxy S8, and shared as part of the 365 Photos Challenge, which the rules and guidelines are listed if you would like to participate.
