I am continuing with the 365 Photos Challenge and I am now on Day 57. Anyone can join in, you do not have to be nominated. Here are the rules on the 365 Photos Challenge.
It looks like maybe I can post about a different bird every day for awhile anyway. During the winter I never know what kind of bird will visit the feeder. It is an exciting time. And makes me feel good that I can feed the birds! Most people do not want to get out when the temperatures are so frigid but it is worth it to me. I take the photos from inside but I still have to get out and keep the feeder clean and full. Today I am sharing a Mockingbird. Usually in the spring and summer you hear these loud aggressive birds all over the yard. They mock the sounds of other birds. Kind of amazing. But when the cardinals and especially the blue jays are around, they stay in the background. He stayed up on my deck privacy fence all morning, just watching the other birds.

Thank you Courtney they are loud and can be aggressive.
Not a colorful bird at all but he makes his presence known with his voice.
