I was quite excited about this new monthly theme. I do like shadows. There is something mysterious about the whole thing. Everything can grow larger than life if you view it in the shadows.
Since my world here is totally white and we are expecting another two feet today the snow seemed like a great choice for the shadow to fall.
So welcome January shadows. Welcome 2020 and Happy New Year to all.
I completely forgets about Kim’s challenge! I posted my photo to the old Wednesday shadow challenge. Thanks for the reminder!
i love shadows! great picture!
I always wonder what hides in the shadows.
Well, this morning I was lucky that I saw what was in the shadows. The guys tell me all the time that I should wait to take out the trash until it’s light. But if they are all still in bed, it seems like a way to be quiet and get something done.
About 10 steps from the trash can, I could make out a big, really big bull moose. I put down the trash and backed away very slowly. Short me, another foot of snow and a bull moose seemed a little much. It’s still dark out there and I will move the trash bag later.
It is going to be an interesting 2020. I can feel it.
my wife would be jealous. She wanted to see a moose when we were in Maine (we did) but would love encountering one in the wild.
i just smile and nod!
2020 is going to be a great year!
Great choice, now that is one lovely photo!! Happy 2020 to you all as well.
Thank you. I think shadows will be very fun.
