In my eighth month of pregnancy, Cory and I flew back to civilisation.
We were met by my parents, spent a week, then travelled to meet his family. I went back home to have our daughter, Alaja and his family was right there. It was amazing how they blended, how well everyone got along
Then everyone went up to spend two weeks with his family, again my folks and his seeming to have know each other forever.
When Alaja was two months old Cory and I returned to Remote and resumed our jobs. We took turns being the stay at home parent. One week I was Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the next week he took my shift and I was Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Good to hear how everyone was getting along.
It was so odd as they had never met or known about the other before.
It’s all about keeping the family together. Do what works for you. Um? Did you just have a baby? If so, CONGRATS!
This is a fiction story in which the marriage really works.
That doesn’t sound like fiction. Sounds very similar to my life experience. Except we didn’t get along with family. LOL.
This is a story. It isn’t based on an actual event.
