Japanese Honeysuckle photo from my spring garden. This vine started out only 5 inches long. I wrapped it around my fence and you should see it now! I will take a photo when it comes back in the spring so you can see the entire vine. It is considered invasive but it is exactly what I wanted to cover part of my fence. It is maintenance free, just needs sunshine. Unless you want to cut it back. But I like for mine to get larger each year. Also, the hummingbirds stop on the way to the deck feeder, as well as the butterflies. Love these flowers.
nice beautiful shots hashtags! # crazy
Thank you for the comment.
Thanks so much for your comment!
It’s a very pretty flower, and I love the contrast of the green in the background.
Thanks, they are beautiful when fully opened with yellow as well in the center.
I rarely meet it in pink. Almost always in white or yellow.
Me too until I came across this Japanese variety. It is gorgeous.
A special Pink, Carol. This is the first time I saw the flower!
Thanks, it is a cool flower in the spring and summer. Starts out as a small vine and grows into a bush.
Great shot, I love honeysuckle. Do the pinks smell as good as the white/yellows?
Thanks Kim, it is a favorite and love the fragrance. Yes they do smell as good!
