People who can’t do better rarely listen to the news. They pay no attention to things which capture the public’s attention.
They will sooner watch cartoons or porn than anything else and seem to focus on what an average person couldn’t look at.
This is because those who Can’t Do Better never permit anything that might challenge their intellect or demand attention to enter their ‘realm’.
As they don’t know what is happening they will often pontificate as if they have some special information.
So if you mentioned curfew they will deal with it as some dialect, unaware that you’re talking beyond the front door.
Those who know them are aware they haven’t a clue what is falling out of their mouths. Those who don’t know them might be confused and think they are saying something.
Always pays to be aware of what is around you. I often worry about people out walking on the road with ear phones, they cant hear danger when it approaches them.
And there are those who are just as distracted without the phone, listening to their own thoughts
