I found this image in a restaurant and I duplicated it at home because I didn’t have a camera. I liked the darkness and I wanted to isolate one small spark of light.
Light is such an illusive natural phenomenon. The more you seek out its’ presence and the stronger your realization of light and how it interacts with subjects the more you seem to find it.
I think seeing light is something that can be honed, a skill that is necessary in shooting photography and I have been finding it in the strangest, most mundane places.
Amazing. If we could all open our minds (and put the phones down) to really look at our surroundings, more photos like this would be surfacing. Great job as always Steve.
