The Wrath of Ursula!

No! That is not a title of a Disney Movie starring the witch Ursula of Little Mermaid. Not am I talking about the purple villain with tentacles for legs.

I am talking about typhoon Ursula that hit the Philippines on Christmas Day!

Part of my house's roofings was ripped by the typhoon.

There was a temporary calm as the eye of the storm passes. We went out to inspect the damage that has been done.

I took a video to record what I see.

When the second wave hit, we ran back inside for cover. The wind was stronger and meaner.

We ran back to the house for cover.

After the storm, some houses made of light materials were completely destroyed.

Trees have fallen. Our jackfruit, mango, and santol or cotton fruit trees were toppled.

Several coconut trees were broken in half.

My son taking a closer look at an uprooted tree.

It looked like Ursula brought a gigantic scythe and decided to cut the trees down in one powerful swing.

Trees and electric poles have fallen and debris is scattered all over the place.

A piece of debris from a roof gutter got tangled on a tree.

This is just in our neighborhood. The story does not end here.
