Live Life: Reality Vs Fantasy

At 5 pm, I drove to the Irvine Spectrum for an Improv meetup. It was cooling down to autumn weather, but not really cold yet. So, I wore my golden brown St. John corduroy pants and St. John chocolate brown corduroy-style loose turtleneck blouse. I added a knit scarf in the orange-brown shade, and I closed it loosely in the front with a cute pin. I added a gray poncho and gray beret. I placed my Year of the Rooster pin on my beret for décor. I wore my brown LV sneakers and matching brown LV purse. I walked through the mall, window-shopped and chatted with some booth owners. I got my ticket at 6:30 pm, and walked inside Improv by 7 pm. I ordered black coffee and a vegetarian Portobello mushroom burger with thin fries. It was good but messy, kind of like eating vegetarian sloppy joes. The comedians were funny. And, at the end of the show, they called a raffle. I was shocked they called my name. I won some free tickets to future shows, but for non-special events shows. I am likely to go alone because it is hard to find other people who want to go. I am always shocked when they call my name on the microphone because I won something, even though it has happened to me more than a couple of times at different events in the past. I walked through the quiet, almost empty mall, with few people walking around or still hanging out at different areas, and I walked straight to my parked car. All the stores were closed. Since it was 9:30 pm, I think they closed around 8 pm or 9 pm. I arrived home at 10:10 pm, and changed my clothes in my comfy short nightie and slippers.

So, I am increasing the activities on my calendar, which is a good sign because I want to go out more and spend less time on the internet. I just went to enjoy the internet at night before bedtime, for fun…
