Former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) announces he’s running for president

source

US President Donald Trump has received another challenger in the 2020 Republican Primary as former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) announced that he is running for President over this past weekend.  He was one of the first US Congressman to be elected as a Tea Party member in 2010.  He served one term in the US House of Representatives.  He then lost his seat to current US Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) in 2012.

More than likely, he will not receive any support from the GOP, but he will make the next few months interesting because he is liable to say anything.  In his last political race against Sen. Duckworth, he said that Duckworth was not a war hero even though she lost both of her legs in the Iraq War.  Now, the 2020 GOP Primary debates will be very interesting.
