Since I hate the word “frugal”, I must then admit I am cheap. I go out of my way to save money, even on little things. I don’t shop often, but when I do, I spend a lot of time searching out deals. I have a very limited income. My boyfriend makes enough to support us, but I have very little spending money. The few luxuries I buy are books and art supplies.
I mostly buy my books at the thrift store. I can spend hours in there, looking for interesting, weird books on strange topics. recently I found “Worlds in Collision” by Immanuel Velikovsky. I even found one on phrenology. I also look for books with interesting illustrations and pictures to use in my collages. I will probably use illustrations from the phrenology book for that purpose.
There is a new Walmart opening soon and I can’t wait to go there. I am hoping to find cheap art supplies. My boyfriend is refusing to take me, but I think I can change his mind. He won’t take me there for groceries, but I might convince him to take me for art supplies, if he gets to wait in the car.
I have always been cheap, and I always will be.

I am frugal but not cheap. I think it depends on who you ask, but I am always looking for ways to save.
