One-Hour Bike Ride

Wednesday, 3.11.20

At 3 pm, I decided to go on a Huffy bicycle ride in my area. On my meditative and relaxing ride, I noticed many butteflies fluttering a happy dance to their own melodic springtime music of a new beginning approaching soon, on March 20th. The cool spring breeze felt nice brushing my face. I felt I was riding on the California coast, even thogh I live around 9 miles from the actual coast. They are preparing for their own new year celebration. I also noticed many lizards walking by on the sidewalk, and I was careful to go around them so that I don’t ride over them. I hung out at the UTC for a while, noticing that many Asian students were wearing masks over their nose and mouth. I took out my iPhone from my sheep backpack that I got from New Zealand, and I browsed the latest headlines on my instagram page.

I noticed a post stating the UCI delaying school instruction because of the Coronavirus epidemic. Students will take their Winter Final Exams remotely, and Spring classes will be remotely, as well. I wonder what “remotely” means…is that the internet communication and emails?

I rode back home in the nice breezy air, and I decided to stop at my mailbox to pick up my mail on my way. By 4 pm, I was back home, eating juicy purple grapes to clench my thirst.

I enjoyed the beauty of nature all around me, the beautiful weather previewing spring 2020, and riding my cute pink Huffy with my cute sheep backpack sitting in the front basket.
