When I was still in primary school, my late father always tells me to eat peanuts because it can make me smart. As a young one, I am so obedient and follow my father’s advice. During my school days, my parents never teach us to learn. My mother had her effort in teaching us ABCs and that was it. My siblings and I developed self-reliance. There are no weary sentiments since we were able to graduate with good grades that time.
In high school days, it seems that peanuts are so effective and continued to consume from time to time. But then, I need to stop eating it. Why? Because I am having acne vulgaris due to being a teenager, it is normal to experience this. The alternative is to have candies or chocolates as the brain booster. We all know that glucose or sugar is food for the brain.
In college days, I took major in a medical field. I had learned that peanuts are not a myth in making us smart in what the old folks claimed. Peanuts are the primary source of Vitamin E that refrains from the regression of cognitive as aging process takes place. Thus, peanuts can helps in fueling the cognitive function of our brain. Thus, it is not a myth after all.
There are so many foods that can serve as a brain booster. It depends on what location are you living in. The availability of raw nuts is scarce in some countries and others are not. As much as possible, the consumption of these nuts and the like should not be chemically made of preservatives. That would be another story if it is effective. Some experts will claim to do a lot of brain activities to enhance the workable function of the brain such as reading books, doing crossword puzzles and other cognitive activities.
