Downtown Lockport after touring the hidden hydraulic tunnels in the walls of the Erie Canal Locks, you can visit the First Presbyterian Church of Lockport. Here they hold free tours (donations accepted) of the inside of the church and the many, many Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass windows they have there. I could show dozens of photos, but I will show this particular one. Notice the Pearlescent white glass here. The shading of the glass in these windows was spectacular. Tiffany did this with both special rippled glass and used many layers to give the look he wanted.

Those must be gorgeous windows to see in real life. As a glassblower I find glass topics very interesting. Tiffany pioneered a lot of techniques through experimentation. He did the glass arts many favors.
