Taoists believe that real sharpness comes without effort
There is only thing that bothers me about the Taoists. They do have a vegetarian diet regulation as part of their life style. I did go to a Taoist restaurant and found something disturbing. I knew about their vegetarian doctrine but I found out that they do not accept garlic as part of their diet. They believe that garlic leads to a desire for meat. I suppose that a vegetarian who does not like garlic has no problems of becoming a Taoist. I also suspect in a speculative way that one of the early founders of the Taoist diet program hated garlic. Just a speculative hypothesis.
the Buddhists believe the same thing about garlic. asking someone to give up meat is one thing, but being a vegetarian and forbidding the king of vegetables is just plain stupid
