My Poetry (Part 6)

There you were,

Just like a flash of light,

You’re everything I’ve ever needed

Your love saved me that night

Out of nowhere,

You appeared,

Like a sweet dream,

Only it was completely real

Here we stand down the road,

Our love still burning strong

I know it always will,

and forever we will sing our love song

There you were, like a flash of light

your love saved my life

You are my today,

and my tomorrow,

My forever,

and happily ever after

I could never ask for better,

Never could I ask for more

You mean the world to me,

and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store

I would build you a city if I could,

For you, I’d hang the moon

I’d light all the stars in the night

Love, I’ll see you soon

One day near,

The distance will disappear

The closest tomorrow as possible,

I’ll be there

You are my today,

and my tomorrow,

My forever,

and happily ever after

Can’t you see two hearts

Joined together as one

it’s as natural as the dark of night

or the bright and shining sun

If you cannot see it, then you must be blind

because it is something to be seen, it is one of a kind

Can’t you see the love of soul mates,

Brought together at last

Found the one they were searching for

all those years in the past

You can see it in their faces, because they sparkle and glow

and they find beauty in anything, even if it were to rain or snow

Can’t you feel the heartbeats,

From a thousand miles away

Knowing they found true love,

That will forever stay

If you can’t hear it, you must open your ears

because the sound will keep on singing for many years

It’s always you,the one I run to,the one I want to cling tofor the rest of my life
