I look in disbelief
at the deep stab
right in my back
unawares
and innocent

deceptions,sabotages
and intrigues
played around me

but they wanted me dead.
They mislead public
like playing their favorite music.
They had woven a web
kissed me in public,
and in private
sharpened their knives
and they were waylaying
me for a lonely spot.
If law had been on their side
I would have reconciled
but problem is,
that is what they broke,
not many but a million times.
In time I averted their stabs
not once but many times;
now they are tired
and I am on a chase,
there is no race
but this time
JUDAS would
surrender
and be dead!

I was going to say the same thing, but you said it first. The idiom for that where I grew up was “he beat me to the punch”
Then, let’s just say we both say it together.
That is not the poin what I am talking about is the public and its helpings to likes of Judas to betray. Should people not discourage likes of Judas. I have a lurking suspicion that public likes battles,fights,deaths,suicides as events of agog
Yes, I also caught the phenomenon, and my comments took the side where stories of betrayal also became part of how someone became big or great based on that betrayal.
