1. She has such a wonderful fierce expression and her outfit is fantastic.

   • I really like the outfit but not the materials, and you know what that means… Which is annoying because the lighting is so nice here

2. remember, this isn’t a final version… it’s still a work in progress. in this case, pretty much everything is up for grabs

3. I noticed the sketches are sweeter than the work in progress, have I seen wrong?

   • It’s your opinion, so you can’t be wrong. But I also think my rough sketches are sometimes better than my finished work…

     • Ha ha ha… I have several times found it on your works! The face in the sketch looks more cute, sweeter, prettier or more handsome than the finished work. This is not a criticism, merely expressing views and appreciation.

       • I’ve noticed it myself, but just don’t understand how to address the issue. Should I work faster and looser? Should I just stop at the rough sketch? Or just use less detail? Just live with it?

         • I think that’s not a problem. I think that is the beauty of art, there is always the “odd”, which invites attention to observe, avoid the perfect balance that is predictable and passable.
           In this work, I think that makes it somewhat different from the sketch and the finished picture is the detail of the mouth area and its surroundings. In the finished picture, the girl is somewhat bucktoothed.
           About all that, just enjoy it. Just live with it.

4. Good to know since I could use some fresh characters.

   • Most of my characters are one-offs, which I suppose is the opposite problem…
