Paintdrips
I met this little girl at the Hmong New Year Celebration in my town and her father told her to hold still and let the lady take her picture. She was so sweet with her lovely jeweled costume and her 6 year old smile. She was all in blues and I changed the colors for my collage. The collage method makes use of little cut and torn pieces of magazine and catalog pages glued onto a larger piece of paper. I’ve been doing this method for years now and I’m still intrigued by the almost abstract forms I get in a representational picture.
