Watching the Smithsonian Channel

This morning about 1:00 am my husband woke and turned on the television, which in turn woke me up. I ended up watching the entire program.

It started out all about archaeology and a dig site and I was all in, until they figured out that they were looking for a giant snake. I don’t love snakes.  Titanoboa is not just a snake, it was the largest snake in the world. Of course they had to show many other very large snakes to make the point. As you might imagine I was horrified. I come in the house if there is water snake the size of a pencil in the yard. It made me want to leap right out back into the house.

Needless to say, I couldn’t get back to sleep. I am very tired. I still have two hours before the kids come in. I think I will hide the remote tonight.
