Gloridaze
On a recent road trip to the Alberta Badlands, we encountered a family of deer crossing the road. We stopped the vehicle to to allow safe passage and waited patiently until mom. dad and two other siblings safety crossed the road an disappeared into a ditch. However, this curious fawn stood in the middle of the road and stared us down. We were trapped in our vehicle but we were thoroughly amused by this defiant child. We stared, he stared and after a few minutes he had enough and joined his family and only then were we able to drive on. It was a rainy and cloudy day and the photo was taken from the car.
These are both beautiful animals and unpredictable … suddenly you jump in front of the car …
Very much so, but I enjoy seeing them just not in front of a vehicle.

They sprint across without any warning and are very difficult to see most of the time.
Very dangerous. We see these a lot and they sadly are hit with he car.
Yes It is quite common around here and they are not always easy to see.
