This is a photo of a box given to one of our cats years ago for her birthing experience. Evidently, one of the other cats thought she needed help caring for the kittens. I was worried that one or more of the kittens would get squashed, but they didn’t.

cat’s are so cute when they are kittens. They do so love boxes!
Yes, I remember at one time my daughters were collecting stray cats. We had 4 or 5 at the time. A neighbor ended up shooting one of them with an arrow. It was sad.
And yes, boxes are a nice and cheap toy for cats and toddlers!!
i hope the authorities did something about the killing of one of the cats.
Nope, they did not do one little thing about it.
i bet they would now, animal cruelty was identified by the FBI as one of the triggers for serial killers.
That is very true! I know the neighbors all close around quit talking to him after that.
that is the smart thing to do. Sometimes dogs or cats do things that upset us. but we have to treat them like children.
they are part of a family!!!
I agree! So glad I got a photo of them!!
Those are a lot of cats to take care of.
We are in the country and one little wild kitty turned into 20+ at one time. I managed to get rid of all of them. Neighbors always want “barn cats.” Sometimes one will come for a visit and then disappear. It is really amazing how far they roam.
That probably does make it much easier to deal with.
We re-homed all of them. Hubby didn’t like all the scratches on our vehicles, which was getting to be pretty bad with them jumping up and sliding down.
Cats are fully capable of adjusting.
I was really surprised with the co-parenting. Most mommas are on the defense and don’t want other cats around or near their babies.
I would guess they are much like people!
Yes, and doggies too!
We have cats and I see they get along well with each other
Especially if they grow up together!!
Omg, that’s too cute! That’ s a lovely picture.
Thank you. I am glad they stayed together so I could get a photo!
