We were all hanging out around the picnic table today trying to keep our minds off the worries. Some how the discussion came around to the what some considered a fact and others considered a factoid. I am not sure that ever got settled.
We were looking at this picture and the reaction was so spot on that it surprised everyone. We had been playing a word game so everyone had a pad and pencil. Everyone wrote down something about the picture.
All the men noted what a good mother duck this was to cradle all those ducklings and keep them warm.
Every women wrote something about the father being missing.
We were a little surprised, are you?
