As part of Kim’s Crazy Color challenge, here is a photo of a green frog in my garden. There are several frogs in the garden and they often pop up and hop around when I am tending the garden. These frogs overwinter in the garden. While this one is green, there are others in the garden that are a yellowish color.
Do you know that edible frog legs are a delicacy in French and Chinese cuisine as well as in other parts of the world? I often wonder what happens with the rest of the frog when the legs are harvested.
Great shot. But I haven’t eaten her feet yet. I don’t think I’ll try them either.
I wouldn’t want to eat them either I would much rather just look at them
What a stunner! Love this little frog. This is a cute one. I have had fried frog legs and they really do tase like chicken.
Really, like chicken? Not sure I will try them though but never say never.
This is one thing I never see in my yard. We are just too dry for them. You’ll only find them near ponds, streams and rivers. This one is gorgeous. I love them.
Thanks. These frogs have a lot of water sources in the garden

Oh how nice, I will check it out.
