Are the birds free when they fly in a flock?

What is actually the flock? It is a family. A family where everyone is together and helps. But does this give them the freedom they need?

What is Freedom? In my opinion, the freedom is to do what you want, not what you need. Thinking of what you want, not what is commonly accepted. Speaking what you want, not what you need. Freedom is a feeling, I would say the most beautiful feeling that God has given us. It can not be described in words because every person is different and feels things differently for him. For me, full freedom is one in which there are no limitations. And in the flock it is not. There, to survive, you have to live according to the rules of others in the family. You fly, where all the others fly. But the family is your security in life – your support. You live with others and for others. You help them when they need it, and you get help when you need them. You know you will never be alone, because there will always be someone to give you a hand and be there to you. Then you are not alone. Besides you, there are many more people to think about, and the birds are never alone. There are generally accepted rules that you have to live in order to be good for the people around you to be happy. Then freedom is not only yours – it is common. And you not only define your rules. It is the whole flock. Then, to be happy, you have to share your freedom with that of the people you love and love.

That’s why I think the birds are happily free because they have chosen to share their freedom with the other birds in the flock.
