I took this shot last Sunday morning at Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin.
The good thing with taking shots of birds like herons is that that will stand stock still as they concentrate on the fish that will hopefully become their next meal and the fish is not disturbed by any movement above.
As a result I got several good shots using my telephoto lens – this shot has not been cropped or edited in any way.
This is a Great to See.

nice capture. It’s quite difficult to capture a bird on cam without a telephoto
That’s one reason why a bought a telephoto lens shortly before going to Berlin!
