Auckland Villas

This is a home now only for rich wealthy people and should be for a couple with children. In those days a quarter acre section was common.

I go past here and often admired the view.

This one has had dogs and children. Very busy people often out on the go with high security. It's another lovely old home next door to the above picture with a white picket fence. Also in Onehunga.

Also in Victoria Street. I believe it was recently sold. A wealthy old lady lived in it and sold it, because she had to downsize. Gardens and house became too much to manage. 

This home has potential but so much money that the owner can't afford to do as much as the house needs doing.

There are people renting this place and the grounds are neglected and over grown Sad to see. Also in Onehunga.

This house is in Grey St Onehunga. You see it's 2 storey with a watch tower on top. 

Now this is of great historical significance. In the early days ships came in and out of the Manukau harbour. There were flat bottomed boats that came and went to several ports in the Manukau Harbour.

As a ship came in the men in these towers signalled that the ship was arriving they had a definite code to convey messages.

Think Remurea, think "Old Money" this is probably owned by the same family for generations. They go to the right schools and keep the wealth between themselves. It's a nice home and happy people and work hard. They obviously can afford to pay the bills.

In the same street as the above house, same "Old Money" probably much richer with a 2 storey house. 

Lovely home and well cared for. This street is tree lined and very beautiful in all types of weather.

This street has many beautiful old villas. This has a lovely garden. Also in Onehunga.

These homes cost a fortune to keep nice.
