According to a study published in the scientific journal PLOS Biology, drinking four coffees a day can help improve our cardiovascular health by protecting cells and helping to repair them. This is because caffeine stimulates the movement of the p27 protein, which transforms into mitochondria, responsible for protecting and repairing the cells of the heart muscles.
