Thoughts on Imperfect Courage by Jessica Honegger

It’s not  my in my top ten list and yet there is a some great wisdom in the book. It is an account of the life of herself and her family. The book is a bit lengthy and there some repetition or perhaps she is just driving the point home and I felt like saying “I got it the first time.”

Her life is a true journey with twists and turns. There are definitely some quotes that will stand the test of time and ring true, especially for women. She takes on the competition that women often flame with each other and turns that into a great resource and educates how that can be transitioned into collaboration and great success.

The first quote that caught my attention was the subtitle of the book and enough to inspire me enough to make the purchase ““Live a life of purpose by leaving comfort and going scared.” The book made me cry, laugh and take a good hard look on how and why I would make changed in my life in the future.

    • Why? You can always put a book down and stop reading it if you become uncomfortable, bored or offended?

I guess I am the opposite. I like to hear about things I may disagree with. I will randomly bring books home from the library. I stop reading them if they don’t interest me and return it. I don’t have a warning label when it comes to authors.
