Architectural Detail on an Apartment Building in Chicago, Illinois (3 photos)

The apartment building is located at 1210 West Granville Avenue (between Magnolia and Broadway) in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. It was built in 1925.

All three photos were taken using a Nikon Coolpix P7700 camera and edited using ACDSee Ultimate 2018.

Window Detail in an Edgewater Apartment Building 1 (2018-05-07 15-03-34a)

I liked the detail here. OK, I would have liked it more if it were terra cotta but you can't have everything.

Note the fake owl on the top for scaring away the pigeons. It doesn't work.

Mannequin in the Doorway of an Edgewater Apartment Building (2018-05-07 15-02-39a)

I have to admit that it was the mannequin in the doorway that caught my attention. I walk past this building a lot and this was the first time I had seen one there. There are some stores on the ground level and it may have had something to do with one of them. There is some nice detail in the doorway although the door itself seems rather boring.
