Although people often don’t think about it, many plants are closely related to other plants they might know about or use, though the plants might seem to be totally unrelated. Normally, closely related plants are said to belong to the same family. This quiz is about plant associations. Some of these might just surprise you. It is hoped that it will also teach some information that has never been thought about by most people.

I only missed one. Now I’m wondering if eating too many cashews made me sick last week. I didn’t eat too many, but I haven’t eaten them much at all in the past few years until this last week.
It is possible that cashews made you sick, particularly if they weren’t properly treated before you ate them.
That is an excellent score!
They were part of a Kirkland organic nuts and berries mix recently purchased. The ones I ate last night didn’t seem to hurt me. Perhaps I was already sick from something else and my stomach just wasn’t ready for nuts.
That is also possible. The flu has been hitting people hard here.
I need to know more plants 🙂
Quizzes like this can be a fun way to do it. :))
Got 8 out of 10, great quiz. Missed #3 & #8.
Wow, you did well! In regard to 3, dill is in the parsley family, paprika is a pepper, and cumin is in the parsley family. Paprika is the “odd-man-out’. Number 8 can surprise a lot of people. The rose family is huge. Many of the fruits sold in the US are in that family; cherries, apples, pears, plums, apricots, peaches, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and even a few nuts (almonds).
I got 6 out of 10… great quiz!
That is a good score! You did well!
Thank you very much!
Thank you very much!
Interesting quiz and photos
A neat quiz idea with interesting questions. I goofed up on two but learned something from most of them.
That is an excellent score. Learning something new is the best thing, though.
Four out of ten on this quiz.
That’s not too bad! Good job.
Thank you so much for your kind comments.
4 mistakes, but I didn’t have the score at the end. Awesome quiz!
Oops, I forgot to go in and turn that thing on. It is too bad that it isn’t on by default.
