4. That was a good one Kim, and it calls to mind a true story that occurred involving my Uncle Joe and the Saint Peter’s Club in my hometown, Gloucester, Massachusetts. Saint Peter is the patron Saint of fishermen and the club was very popular among fishermen, dockworkers and others in Gloucester. One day after he had retired, my uncle was passing an afternoon drinking beer and sharing stories with fishermen at the club. He had one too many and couldn’t remember where he parked his car. After trying unsuccessfully to locate it he went to a pay phone in the club and called a taxi. He asked the cab driver to take him to Boley’s Plymouth Dealership across town. He purchased a used 1989 Plymouth Reliant and drove it home. Two weeks later the Gloucester Police telephoned my uncle to ask him if he intended to pick up the car he had left in the parking lot across from the Saint Peter’s Club.
