Hi folks, hope you had a great Christmas and I wish you an amazing, happy and prosperous 2018.
As part of welcoming the New Year, I have published my new collection of artworks, called ‘EMOTIONS and MOODS’ and added a few new pieces to existing collections.
I do hope you will take a look and give me your opinion on the various images.
Each one has been created using a method I developed, Digital Mash, which blends and uses several techniques to create these unique images.
You can see Emotions and Moods HERE
Don’t forget to come back and tell me what you think. 🙂
I now am a fan of your type of artwork. I want to try digital art one day myself. What would you recommend?
Hi LaJenna,
I would recommend you sample several free editors and platforms before committing to buy any.
Each have unique functions and/or options which work better in some than in others, (in my opinion).
You will have to move the image you are working on between sites, but as a way of finding what suits you and what functions each site holds, it is worth doing.
The one I find closest to Photoshop, (the market leader and arguably the best?), is Pixlr.com, they also have an upgrade to a paid ‘professional’ version. I love Pixlr BTW.
Other platforms you must try are, Online-image-editor.com, iPiccy and LunaPic.
Gimp is another ‘must have’, but I would get used to others first, Gimp is not so intuitive and can take some getting-used-to/learning.
All have unique functions and/or certain function which work better than any competitors.
It all comes down to your personal preference.
Hope this helps?
Thank you very much, Georgi
Nice post! Nice pictures!
