An abstract image inspired by a line in a poem by John Keats Endymion. It was painted with acrylic ink on art paper without the use of a brush. This is the best method I know for getting my ideas and feelings down on paper in colour. I am not aware of another artist using this style to paint. I hope the viewer feels the same passion as I felt when painting it.
I’m trying to loosen up my style and get more results like this, so I appreciate your work even more than I usually would…
Good luck with your change of style I love your work as it is Alex
That’s very kind of you to say, but I would like to be able to have many different ways to depict any given subject. So as to have the best options available to me and also to avoid being a one trick pony
I think early in an artists career it’s good to try things but they should be looking for their own distinctive style like Picasso did. Once this has evolved they should explore this style to see where it takes them
I think it is never too late to expand your repertoire, but that’s just me…
You might be right Alex Picasso was a one off. As long as it stays fun to do is the only important thing to me.
Cool abstract of color Ralph.
