Liam Hannon and his dad Scott are assisting the homeless in Cambridge Massachusetts since early July by making up to 800 handmade sandwiches at the time they started their mission of mercy until the present.
Liam who is 10 years of age wanted to help the homeless community in Cambridge out of the kindness of his heart. Liam was able to convince his dad Scott who is 49 years of age to assist the homeless in their neighborhood by delivering handmade sandwiches from their home. Liam is using a green wagon to make the life of the homeless people a little bit brighter.
Liam received the idea to give back to his community since he did not want to attend summer camp.Scott spent the money from his own pocketbook to buy the ingredients to make the handmade sandwiches to feed the homeless in his neighborhood.
The Scott family go to local food banks to pick up the meals needed to feed the homeless and they set up a Go Fund Me account to assist the homeless to enjoy a meal.
This Thanksgiving week the Scott family have teamed up Hildebrand Family Self-Help Center in Cambridge to give out meals to the homeless in their city.
Liam does this kind of work because as a child who is innocent in life wants to be a young person who cares for people that are less fortunate than himself. The media attention has not affected him in a way that he forgets what is his mission in life.
This idea is a great example of human virtue
That is true since the father and son who are doing these wonderful deeds are rare these days in this world.
Great idea, he has a warm heart!
The Hannon family are really great people helping the homeless enjoy a meal.
