Paintdrips
I painted this as a gift for a couple’s wedding. They were such sweet and supportive friends, always helping and never judging. I wanted them to have something really special but all I could really afford was something I created myself. I hated leaving them when my husband’s job relocated us to another area of the state. Still I have fond memories of these friends and all they did for us.
The painting was another done in the wrinkle paper effect. This is a technique that seems to work perfectly for flowers. It gives them an extra 3D quality that wouldn’t be there on just flat paper.

The painting has wonderful detail – even the thorns.
Great work, wonderful color and composion. The background really helps the subject to pop. Nice with the morning dew on the leaves.
