Let us have a Hygienic Diet Food: ‘Khichdi’

Truly it is easily digestible and in fact this diet food is enriched with vitamins, minerals and with plenty of fibers which are required for a Physically fit Human Being. Let us have a quick look into the easiest preparation of the most mouth-watering Khichdi Recipe.

Recipe-:KHICHDI

Required Ingredients-:

  • Good quality rice of 250 grams and 100 grams Moong Dal(Lentils),
  • One Big size Onion along with 2-3 well groomed Green Chilies,
  • 2 tbsp Ghee/2 tbsp Sunflower oil,
  • One Big size Tomato,
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • and salt as you taste.

Enlight your cooking Gas and heat 2 tbsp of Ghee or Sunflower oil for just 2 minutes.

Fry deeply the sliced Onion, Chilies and Tomato together  for another 2-3 minutes still it looks little fat and red.Stir all mixing a 1/2 tbsp Turmeric Powder and mix all the soaked Dal(Lentils) and Rice into it .

Add water accordingly the amount of Rice and Dal(Lentils) into the Pressure Cooker.Leave it with slow cooking just for another 3-4 minutes.

Now your delicious, mouth watering and the most hygienic  dish is ready to eat.Try it if you can.To make it more tasty and delicious you can also add on vegetables with it that you like to have.
