Scott Weaver created this magnificent piece with over 100,000 toothpicks!
Imagine having enough patience to construct a depiction of San Francisco that took 35 years to create!
This gentleman obviously loved his city, enough to painstakingly construct it as a gratitude to San Francisco. The sculpture is called “Rolling Through the Bay” which is an interactive movement or “tour” utilizing ping pong balls rolling down curving tracks to highlight the city’s neighborhoods, historical settings and famous landmarks of the city by the bay.

This is very cool. I did one of these with Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream
Great results of perseverance and persistence.
Yes, 35 years of patience! Thanks for commenting Albert! 🙂
Everyone should be able to do it, many people do it; patient and persistent, in any case, I am very sure you have done it in your specific context as well!!!
That feat that took 35 years to make with 100,000 toothpicks is just amazing.
That took dedication and extreme patience working with glue and toothpicks! I admire this guy. Thanks for commenting DPG! 🙂
