In May of 2012 I met an extraordinary man. I met Rich Petti two weeks before his birthday through Speed Date, online dating platform. He surprised me by driving to Pennsylvania from Dansville, New York on his birthday to take me out to dinner. Little did we know that we would have very little time to get to know one another. We began a long distance relationship and only would see each other in person three times. During my visit to his home in Dansville, New York I had the privilege of a private guitar session. That July he passed away suddenly from an aortic aneurysm. I was devastated by his loss and I believe the world lost a great musician.
