While I normally plant carving sized pumpkins in my garden, I ended up with some ornamental sized pumpkins this year. I don’t know if the plants I purchased in the Spring were mis-identified or if it was some kind of cross-pollination mishap. Nonetheless, I wasn’t going to let the little gourds go to waste, so I created a miniature pumpkin snowman to decorate our dining room. Using small electric tea lights for each section of my pumpkin-snowman, I was able to light each portion of the snowman’s body. Watch the above video to see how I did it.

cool. looks fun. i have never carved a pumpkin before. but when i was a kid, living in wv, i did many snowman in different sizes. and when i moved to california, i made a couple of Sandman at the beach.
