Like many humans, almost all pet dogs are afraid of agreeing with their owners to pay a veterinarian a visit. Their reactions against the idea shows they are oppose to that decision. Maybe it has to do with the smell accustomed in the hospitals or the pain of a syringe.

I have never had a pet – I’m too irresponsible to take care of a pet.

Here in Africa, they’re rarely taken to the vet unless a campaign of free rabies vaccination against dogs is announced by the government.
ours go once or twice a year. But in fairness one is 8 years old and the other is 7 so they are considered older dogs.
